The Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine department at Scottish Rite for Children provides care for orthopedic patients who also have related neurological disorders and neuromuscular diseases. Our specialized care is tailored to the specific needs of children with these conditions.

Our team has developed highly regarded, specialized clinics, tailored to the specific needs of children with the following neurological conditions:
- Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) Clinic: In 1990, Scottish Rite for Children created one of the first tuberous sclerosis complex clinics in the country, which has served as a model for TSC clinics nationwide.
- Hereditary Spastic Paraparesis (HSP) Clinic: In 2012, the first pediatric HSP clinic in the nation was established at Scottish Rite.
- Neuromuscular Conditions: We have a world-renowned reputation for treating children with neuromuscular disorders that dates back to the late 1970s.
- Neuromotor Conditions: In collaboration with local universities, Scottish Rite works to provide holistic and comprehensive CP care.
- Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders: Our team includes neurologists with specialized training in epilepsy, ensuring expert care for children with seizure disorders.
Our internationally recognized orthopedists and neurologists have teamed up to create a multidisciplinary clinic for the care of children with cerebral palsy. The center has garnered worldwide recognition. It benefits patients locally as well as those who travel from across the country and around the world to receive Scottish Rite for Children's expert, individualized care. This clinic includes care from phsicians in our orthopedics, rehabilitation medicine, pediatric developmental disabilities, neurology and psychology departments. Experts from therapy services and clinical nutrition are also available.
Scottish Rite for Children's Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine Department is committed to the discovery and development of better treatments for children with neuro-orthopedic disorders. To accomplish this mission, the department actively collaborates with academic centers on a national and international scale.
