Expert Lecture Series: Dyslexia Intervention – Accommodations and Modifications

Join us for Crayon Club’s Pickleball Social at Scottish Rite for Children, Jas. F. Chambers, Jr. Youth Fitness Park! Connect with fellow young professionals while enjoying friendly matches on our pickleball courts. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, everyone is welcome! Paddles will be available, but you can also bring your own. Pizza, beverages and open courts are included with your ticket.

It will be a fun-filled evening of pickleball, pizza and philanthropy!

Non-members can purchase tickets for $25. Red Crayon Level Members can purchase tickets for $20. Blue and Green Crayon Level Members can reserve their spot online at www.scottishriteforchildren.org/crayonclub since their ticket has been purchased through their membership.

Expert Lecture Series: Dyslexia Intervention – Accommodations and Modifications

The Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders at Scottish Rite for Children offers a seminar about effective dyslexia intervention.  Participants will learn strategies for modifying dyslexia intervention as required by the Dyslexia Handbook and specifics associated with House Bill 3928.  Additionally, participants will learn effective accommodations for children with dyslexia.  An overview of how administrators can support providers of dyslexia intervention will be presented.

The Zoom link and log in information for the virtual seminar will be provided by email 2 days prior to the seminar.
